Política de privacidad

Componer una obra exige datos íntimos: cuándo y dónde nació una persona y, a veces, los de quienes la rodean. Este documento declara qué se conserva, con qué finalidad, quién más lo trata y cómo obtener su supresión.

1. Responsable del tratamiento

Celestial Bound es un proyecto independiente operado desde la República de Costa Rica (en adelante, «la Editorial») y es el responsable de esta base de datos conforme a la Ley N.º 8968 de Protección de la Persona frente al tratamiento de sus datos personales.

Detrás de la Editorial hay una persona física, no una sociedad. Sus datos identificatorios se entregan a quien los requiera —para un reclamo o para acudir ante la PRODHAB— solicitándolos a la dirección indicada abajo.

2. Datos que se tratan

2.1 Cuenta

El acceso se realiza mediante Google. De dicho proveedor se recibe y se conserva el nombre, la dirección de correo electrónico, la fotografía de perfil y el identificador que Google asigna a la cuenta. La Editorial no recibe ni conserva contraseña alguna.

2.2 Datos de nacimiento de las personas de la obra

De cada persona sobre la que se compone una obra se conservan el nombre, la fecha de nacimiento, la hora —cuando se conoce—, el lugar de nacimiento, el género y el idioma. Con ellos se calcula la carta natal, que es lo que la obra interpreta. En las ediciones de pareja y de familia se conserva además el rol de cada persona (madre, hijo, abuela…), por cuanto determina cómo se componen los capítulos de vínculo.

Se conserva asimismo lo que con esos datos se escribe: la obra completa —su texto, su plan, sus ilustraciones y el PDF—, los resúmenes y el capítulo de muestra. Se trata de prosa referida a una persona determinada, de modo que recibe el tratamiento de dato personal y no el de archivo suelto.

2.3 Descripción física

Cuando se redacta una descripción física para orientar las ilustraciones, se conserva ese texto. Las ilustraciones son una interpretación editorial y no un retrato fiel; el campo puede dejarse en blanco y la obra se ilustra igualmente.

Cuando en lugar de redactarla se carga una fotografía desde la tienda o desde la cuenta, la imagen viaja una sola vez a un modelo que la traduce a palabras, y esas palabras quedan a la vista para su edición. Dicha fotografía no se almacena: ni en la base de datos ni en el almacenamiento de archivos. Lo que se conserva es el texto.

2.4 Pedido

Qué edición digital se adquirió, en qué idioma, el monto, la moneda, el estado del pago, los identificadores que devuelve la pasarela y, cuando corresponda, la dedicatoria del obsequio. Los datos de la tarjeta no transitan por los servidores de la Editorial y no se conservan: el cobro ocurre íntegramente en Dodo Payments (cláusula 5).

2.5 Soporte

El reporte que se registra al comunicar un problema, para que lo lea una persona. El panel de ayuda —las preguntas frecuentes y el estado de los pedidos propios— opera sin inteligencia artificial y sin remitir información a terceros. Cuando además se encuentra habilitado el chat con asistente, lo que se escriba en él sí viaja al modelo (cláusula 5) y queda registrado.

2.6 Lista de espera y capítulo de muestra

Quien deja su dirección para ser avisado de una edición digital todavía no disponible: se conservan el correo electrónico y la página desde la cual se dejó. Quien solicita el capítulo de muestra: se conserva el capítulo generado junto a su correo, para permitir su relectura y para no incurrir dos veces en el costo de generarlo.

2.7 Datos técnicos

El servidor deja registros de operación (dirección IP, navegador, fecha y hora, recurso solicitado). Se emplean para diagnosticar errores y detectar abusos, y no para elaborar perfiles.

3. Finalidades y base legal

Componer e ilustrar la obra: es la finalidad principal y la única que requiere los datos de nacimiento.
Entregarla: conservarla en la cuenta, exhibirla en el lector y permitir la descarga del PDF.
Cobrar y llevar el registro del pedido.
Comunicar lo relativo al pedido: la acreditación del pago, que la obra está lista, la confirmación de la lista de espera y la recepción de un reporte de soporte. Son correos de servicio, no publicidad.
Atender las consultas dirigidas a soporte.
Sostener el servicio: seguridad, respaldos y corrección de errores.

La base legal es el contrato —la adquisición de la obra— para todo aquello que resulta necesario para entregarla, y el consentimiento para lo que es opcional: la lista de espera, el capítulo de muestra, las cookies de medición y los datos de terceras personas que el comprador cargue.

Lo que la Editorial no hace en ningún caso: vender los datos, alquilarlos, cederlos a intermediarios de datos, emplearlos con fines publicitarios, publicar la obra ni exhibirla a nadie distinto de su titular.

4. Datos de terceros y de personas menores de edad

Toda obra que incluya datos de personas distintas del comprador —señaladamente las ediciones de pareja y de familia, y también una edición personal adquirida para obsequio— se compone con datos de quien no contrata. Al cargarlos, el comprador declara estar autorizado a hacerlo: porque esa persona lo consintió, o porque ostenta respecto de ella la patria potestad o la representación legal. La responsabilidad es exclusivamente suya, y se le solicita que ponga esta política en conocimiento de la persona incluida.

Las ediciones de familia pueden incluir personas menores de edad. Sus datos los carga siempre una persona adulta que ejerce la patria potestad o la representación legal. El servicio se dirige a personas mayores de 18 años y las cuentas les corresponden a ellas; la Editorial no verifica la edad, por cuanto el inicio de sesión con Google no la informa. Advertido que una cuenta pertenece a una persona menor de edad, se suprime.

Quien aparezca en una obra adquirida por otra persona puede solicitar la supresión de sus datos escribiendo a support@celestialbound.com, y se procede a ella.

5. Encargados y destinatarios

La Editorial no comercializa datos. No obstante, la obra no se compone sin intermediarios: existen proveedores que tratan estos datos por cuenta de la Editorial y únicamente para las finalidades declaradas. Son los siguientes, con indicación de qué recibe cada uno:

El cálculo de la carta natal lo realiza un servicio propio: esa operación no sale de la infraestructura de la Editorial. El autocompletado del lugar de nacimiento tampoco expone al usuario: la consulta pasa por el servidor de la Editorial, de modo que quien suministra los nombres de ciudades recibe una consulta aislada y nunca su dirección IP.

La Editorial podrá además entregar datos cuando así lo ordene una autoridad competente por la vía legal, y en ningún otro supuesto.

6. Transferencias internacionales

Todos los proveedores enumerados se encuentran fuera del país, en su mayoría en Estados Unidos y en la Unión Europea, lo que implica que los datos se tratan en el exterior. La Editorial selecciona proveedores que se obligan contractualmente a protegerlos. Quien no acepte esa condición no puede utilizar el servicio: sin ellos no hay obra.

7. Cookies y medición

Ante todo, y porque es lo que más importa: la Editorial no comercializa datos, y ninguna herramienta de medición o de publicidad accede a la obra ni a los datos de nacimiento. Lo que esas herramientas miden son páginas —cuáles se visitan y desde dónde se llega—, nunca lo que la obra dice de una persona.

Las cookies de medición y de publicidad no se activan sin consentimiento previo. En la primera visita se exhibe un aviso con dos opciones equivalentes, aceptar y rechazar. Hasta que se acepte, ninguna de esas herramientas se carga: no se ejecuta su código, no se instalan sus cookies y no se les transmite dirección IP alguna. Toda herramienta que se incorpore en el futuro —de medición o de publicidad— queda sujeta a este mismo aviso. Si se rechaza, la decisión se conserva y el aviso no vuelve a exhibirse.

Aceptado el consentimiento, la herramienta hoy en uso es Google Analytics, cargada a través de Google Tag Manager —del mismo proveedor, que no instala cookies propias y sirve únicamente para cargarla—, en la página de inicio y en la aplicación, para conocer cuántas personas llegan y qué páginas leen. Instala sus propias cookies (_ga) e informa a Google la dirección IP, el navegador y las páginas visitadas. No accede a la obra ni a los datos de nacimiento: mide páginas, no contenido. Las consolas internas de trabajo no lo incorporan, deliberadamente.

Junto a ella, y con el mismo consentimiento previo, se emplea el pixel de Meta para saber si la publicidad de la Editorial cumple su función, lo que exige que alcance también a la página en que una compra se confirma. Instala sus propias cookies (_fbp) e informa a Meta la dirección IP, el navegador y la dirección de la página visitada. No accede a la obra ni a los datos de nacimiento: esas direcciones revelan qué pantalla se abrió y qué edición se está mirando —un pedido, una lectura, un libro de pareja—, y el resto de ellas son identificadores opacos, de suerte que jamás informan qué dice la obra, de quién es, ni dato de nacimiento alguno. Las consolas internas de trabajo tampoco lo incorporan.

Revocar es tan sencillo como consentir. La decisión puede modificarse en cualquier momento, sin dar razones:

Con independencia de lo anterior, al iniciar sesión con Google éste puede instalar cookies propias. Ese tratamiento se rige por la política de Google y no por la presente. Las tipografías del sitio, en cambio, se sirven desde este mismo dominio: cargar una página no le informa nada a nadie.

La cookie propia de la Editorial es una sola, y ni ella ni las preferencias que se guardan junto a ella permiten seguimiento alguno:

cb_session — cookie única, técnica y necesaria, que mantiene la sesión abierta. Es httpOnly, de modo que ningún script puede leerla. Se elimina al cerrar sesión.
cb_lang, cb_lang_hint y cb_consent — no son cookies: son preferencias almacenadas en el propio navegador, la primera para recordar el idioma de lectura, la segunda para no volver a mostrar el aviso de que el idioma se puede cambiar y la tercera para recordar la decisión descrita arriba. No salen del equipo y no viajan a ningún servidor.

8. Conservación y supresión

Los datos se conservan mientras subsista la cuenta. La obra y los datos que la sostienen permanecen para permitir su relectura en cualquier momento: es lo que se adquirió.

Para suprimirlos, no hace falta solicitarlo ni esperar respuesta: la propia cuenta dispone de la opción «Eliminar cuenta». Se ejecuta en el acto y es irreversible. Se suprime lo siguiente de los sistemas de la Editorial:

La cuenta y sus sesiones abiertas.
Los perfiles con los datos de nacimiento, propios y de las personas cargadas.
Las obras completas: el texto, el PDF, la portada y las láminas, incluidos los archivos alojados en el almacenamiento.
La descripción física, cuando la hubiere.
Las conversaciones con soporte y la dirección en la lista de espera.

Lo que no puede prometerse es la desaparición instantánea de todo rastro. Las filas se suprimen de inmediato; los archivos —PDF e ilustraciones— enseguida después, y si un almacenamiento no responde en ese momento, el fallo queda registrado y la operación se completa a mano. Puede subsistir además una copia en los respaldos durante un plazo acotado, y copias en los proveedores de la cláusula 5 —el correo remitido, la factura emitida por Dodo Payments— sujetas a los plazos de cada uno.

La factura del pedido es el caso que la Editorial no controla. Del pedido, la Editorial conserva únicamente el registro contable anonimizado que se describe a continuación; la factura, en cambio, la emitió Dodo Payments en calidad de Merchant of Record —es quien vendió y quien remitió el impuesto— y su conservación se rige por las obligaciones contables y fiscales que pesan sobre esa empresa, no sobre la Editorial.

Tres cosas subsisten deliberadamente, y se declaran completas:

La marca de que una dirección ya utilizó su capítulo de muestra. El capítulo se suprime; subsiste únicamente la dirección, por tiempo indefinido, para que suprimir y recrear la cuenta no se convierta en una vía para obtener capítulos gratuitos indefinidamente. Quien desee que también se suprima puede solicitarlo y se procede a ello.
Un registro de costos de cada obra generada (cuánto costó, qué modelo, cuántas llamadas). Al darse de baja se le retira el identificador que contenía el nombre, de manera que deja de indicar a quién correspondía.
El registro contable del pedido. Subsiste la constancia de la venta —fecha, edición, importe, moneda, estado del pago, los identificadores que devuelve la pasarela y el consentimiento prestado en la pantalla de pago—, por cuanto la Editorial está obligada a conservar sus registros de venta y a poder acreditar un cobro: el derecho de supresión no alcanza aquello que la ley obliga a conservar. De esa constancia se retira todo lo que identifica: el vínculo con la cuenta, la dedicatoria del obsequio, la descripción física y el identificador de la obra, que contenía el nombre.

Los registros técnicos del servidor se conservan por poco tiempo y únicamente para diagnóstico y seguridad. No se declara un plazo exacto porque hoy no existe una rotación fija que pueda garantizarse.

Quien prefiera que la supresión la ejecute la Editorial, o desee suprimir sólo una parte, puede escribir a support@celestialbound.com.

9. Derechos de la persona titular

La Ley 8968 reconoce el derecho a acceder a los datos, rectificarlos cuando fueren inexactos, actualizarlos y solicitar su eliminación. El consentimiento otorgado puede revocarse en cualquier momento y sin expresión de causa.

La supresión no requiere solicitud: está en la propia cuenta, en «Eliminar cuenta», y se ejecuta sola (cláusula 8). Para todo lo demás —acceso, rectificación, copia de los datos propios— basta escribir a support@celestialbound.com desde la dirección de la cuenta. Se responde dentro de los cinco días hábiles. El ejercicio de estos derechos es gratuito.

Quien considere que su solicitud no fue atendida como corresponde puede reclamar ante la Agencia de Protección de Datos de los Habitantes (PRODHAB) de Costa Rica.

Quien se encuentre en la Unión Europea o el Reino Unido puede escribir a la misma dirección. Allí el reglamento reconoce además el derecho a limitar el tratamiento, a oponerse a él y a obtener una copia de los datos propios en formato legible por máquina, y el plazo de respuesta es de un mes. Cabe asimismo reclamar ante la autoridad de protección de datos del país de residencia.

Los datos se tratan fuera de la Unión Europea (cláusula 6). La base de dicha transferencia son hoy los compromisos contractuales de cada proveedor; quien desee saber cuál corresponde a cuál puede solicitarlo a esa dirección y se le informará.

10. Seguridad

La totalidad del sitio opera bajo HTTPS, la cookie de sesión es httpOnly y cada cuenta accede únicamente a sus propios perfiles, pedidos y obras, verificado del lado del servidor y no meramente ocultado en la interfaz. Aun así, ningún sistema es infalible: de producirse una brecha que afecte a una persona titular, se le comunicará en los términos que exija la ley aplicable.

El identificador de la sesión se guarda transformado, de modo que la base de datos no contiene la credencial que permitiría suplantar a nadie, y toda copia de respaldo se cifra antes de salir del servidor. Los campos de la base de datos no se cifran individualmente: el acceso a ellos se controla por cuenta y del lado del servidor.

11. Modificaciones

Toda modificación de esta política se refleja en la fecha que encabeza el documento. Cuando el cambio fuere de fondo —datos nuevos, un proveedor nuevo, una finalidad nueva— se comunicará por correo electrónico con anterioridad a su entrada en vigor.

Privacy policy

Composing a work takes intimate data: when and where a person was born and, sometimes, the same for those around them. This document states what is kept, for what purpose, who else processes it, and how to have it deleted.

1. Data controller

Celestial Bound is an independent project operated from the Republic of Costa Rica (hereinafter, "the Publisher") and is the controller of this database under Costa Rican Law No. 8968 on the protection of persons with regard to the processing of their personal data.

Behind the Publisher there is a natural person, not a company. Their identifying details are provided to anyone who requires them — for a claim or to apply to PRODHAB — on request to the address below.

2. Data processed

2.1 Account

Access is through Google. From that provider the Publisher receives and keeps the name, email address, profile picture and the identifier Google assigns to the account. The Publisher never receives or keeps any password.

2.2 Birth details of the people in the work

For each person a work is composed about, the Publisher keeps the name, the date of birth, the time — where known —, the place of birth, the gender and the language. From these the birth chart is calculated, which is what the work interprets. In the couple and family editions the Publisher also keeps each person's role (mother, son, grandmother…), because it determines how the bond chapters are composed.

What is written from those details is kept too: the complete work — its text, its plan, its illustrations and the PDF —, the summaries and the sample chapter. This is prose about a specific person, so it is treated as personal data and not as a loose file.

2.3 Physical description

Where a physical description is written to guide the illustrations, that text is kept. The illustrations are an editorial interpretation rather than a faithful portrait; the field may be left blank and the work is illustrated all the same.

Where, instead of writing it, a photograph is uploaded from the shop or from the account, the image travels once to a model that translates it into words, and those words are shown for editing. That photograph is not stored: neither in the database nor in file storage. What is kept is the text.

2.4 Order

Which digital edition was purchased, in which language, the amount, the currency, the payment status, the identifiers the gateway returns and, where applicable, the gift dedication. Card details do not pass through the Publisher's servers and are not kept: the charge happens entirely at Dodo Payments (clause 5).

2.5 Support

The report recorded when a problem is raised, so that a person can read it. The help panel — the FAQ and the status of one's own orders — operates without artificial intelligence and sends nothing to third parties. When the assistant chat is also enabled, whatever is written in it does travel to the model (clause 5) and is recorded.

2.6 Waitlist and sample chapter

For anyone leaving their address to be told about a digital edition that is not yet available: the email address and the page it was left from are kept. For anyone requesting the sample chapter: the generated chapter is kept alongside their email, to allow re-reading and to avoid incurring the cost of generating it twice.

2.7 Technical data

The server keeps operational logs (IP address, browser, date and time, resource requested). They are used to diagnose errors and detect abuse, not to build profiles.

3. Purposes and legal basis

Composing and illustrating the work: the principal purpose and the only one that requires the birth details.
Delivering it: keeping it in the account, showing it in the reader and allowing the PDF to be downloaded.
Charging and keeping the record of the order.
Writing about the order: that payment cleared, that the work is ready, confirmation of the waitlist, and receipt of a support report. These are service emails, not marketing.
Answering enquiries sent to support.
Sustaining the service: security, backups and fixing errors.

The legal basis is the contract — the purchase of the work — for everything necessary to deliver it, and consent for what is optional: the waitlist, the sample chapter, analytics cookies and the details of third parties the buyer enters.

What the Publisher never does: sell the data, rent it, pass it to data brokers, use it for advertising, publish the work, or show it to anyone other than the person it belongs to.

4. Third-party and children's data

Any work that includes the details of people other than the buyer — notably the couple and family editions, and also a personal edition bought as a gift — is composed from the details of someone who is not the contracting party. In entering them, the buyer states that they are authorised to do so: because that person consented, or because they hold parental responsibility or legal guardianship over them. The responsibility is theirs alone, and they are asked to bring this policy to the attention of the person included.

Family editions may include minors. Their details are always entered by an adult with parental responsibility or legal guardianship. The service is directed at people aged 18 or over and accounts belong to them; the Publisher does not verify age, since signing in with Google does not report it. On learning that an account belongs to a minor, it is deleted.

Anyone appearing in a work bought by someone else may request the deletion of their data by writing to support@celestialbound.com, and it is carried out.

5. Processors and recipients

The Publisher does not trade in data. Even so, the work is not composed without intermediaries: there are providers who process this data on the Publisher's behalf and only for the purposes declared. They are the following, stating what each receives:

The birth chart calculation is performed by an in-house service: that operation does not leave the Publisher's infrastructure. The birth place autocomplete does not expose the user either: the query passes through the Publisher's server, so whoever supplies the city names receives an isolated query and never the user's IP address.

The Publisher may also hand over data where a competent authority so orders by legal process, and in no other case.

6. International transfers

All the providers listed are outside the country, mostly in the United States and the European Union, which means the data is processed abroad. The Publisher selects providers that contractually undertake to protect it. Anyone who does not accept that condition cannot use the service: without them there is no work.

7. Cookies and measurement

First of all, because it matters most: the Publisher does not trade in data, and no measurement or advertising tool reaches the work or the birth details. What those tools measure is pages — which ones are visited and where the visit came from — never what the work says about a person.

Measurement and advertising cookies are not activated without prior consent. On the first visit a notice is shown with two equivalent options, accept and reject. Until it is accepted, none of those tools is loaded: their code does not run, their cookies are not set, and no IP address is transmitted to them. Any tool added in future — for measurement or for advertising — falls under this same notice. If it is rejected, the decision is kept and the notice is not shown again.

Once consent is given, the tool in use today is Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager — from the same provider, which sets no cookies of its own and serves only to load it — on the home page and in the application, to know how many people arrive and which pages they read. It sets its own cookies (_ga) and tells Google the IP address, the browser and the pages visited. It does not reach the work or the birth details: it measures pages, not content. The internal working consoles do not carry it, deliberately.

Alongside it, and under the same prior consent, the Meta pixel is used to know whether the Publisher's advertising does its job, which requires that it also reach the page where a purchase is confirmed. It sets its own cookies (_fbp) and tells Meta the IP address, the browser and the address of the page visited. It does not reach the work or the birth details: those addresses reveal which screen was opened and which edition is being looked at — an order, a reading, a couples book — and the rest of them are opaque identifiers, so they never say what the work says, whose it is, or any birth detail. The internal working consoles do not carry it either.

Withdrawing is as easy as consenting. The decision can be changed at any time, without giving reasons:

Independently of the above, signing in with Google means it may set its own cookies. That processing is governed by Google's policy and not by this one. The site's typefaces, by contrast, are served from this same domain: loading a page tells no one anything.

The Publisher has a single cookie of its own, and neither it nor the preferences stored alongside it enable any tracking whatsoever:

cb_session — a single, technical, necessary cookie that keeps the session open. It is httpOnly, so no script can read it. It is removed on signing out.
cb_lang, cb_lang_hint and cb_consent — not cookies: preferences stored in the browser itself, the first to remember the reading language, the second to stop showing the notice that the language can be changed, and the third to remember the decision described above. They never leave the device and are never sent to any server.

8. Retention and deletion

Data is kept for as long as the account exists. The work and the data that sustains it remain so that it can be re-read at any time: that is what was bought.

To delete it, there is no need to ask or to wait for a reply: the account itself has a "Delete account" option. It runs immediately and cannot be undone. The following is deleted from the Publisher's systems:

The account and its open sessions.
The profiles with the birth details, one's own and those of the people entered.
The complete works: the text, the PDF, the cover and the plates, including the files held in storage.
The physical description, where there was one.
The support conversations and the address on the waitlist.

What cannot be promised is that every trace vanishes instantly. Rows are deleted immediately; files — PDF and illustrations — right afterwards, and if a storage service does not respond at that moment, the failure is logged and the operation is completed by hand. A copy may also survive in backups for a limited period, and copies at the providers in clause 5 — the email that was sent, the invoice Dodo Payments issued — subject to each one's own periods.

The order's invoice is the case the Publisher does not control. Of the order, the Publisher keeps only the anonymised accounting record described below; the invoice, by contrast, was issued by Dodo Payments as Merchant of Record — they are the seller and the party that remitted the tax — and its retention is governed by the accounting and tax obligations that fall on that company, not on the Publisher.

Three things survive deliberately, and they are declared in full:

The mark that an address has already used its sample chapter. The chapter is deleted; only the address survives, indefinitely, so that deleting and recreating the account does not become a way to obtain free chapters forever. Anyone who wants that deleted too can ask, and it is done.
A cost record for each work generated (what it cost, which model, how many calls). On closing the account the identifier that carried the name is stripped from it, so it no longer says whose it was.
The order's accounting record. The evidence of the sale survives — date, edition, amount, currency, payment status, the identifiers the gateway returns and the consent given on the payment screen — because the Publisher is obliged to keep its sales records and to be able to evidence a charge: the right to erasure does not reach what the law requires to be kept. Everything identifying is stripped from that record: the link to the account, the gift dedication, the physical description and the work's identifier, which carried the name.

The server's technical logs are kept for a short time and only for diagnostics and security. No exact period is stated because there is today no fixed rotation that could be guaranteed.

Anyone who would rather the Publisher carried out the deletion, or wants to delete only part, can write to support@celestialbound.com.

9. Rights of the data subject

Law 8968 grants the right to access the data, rectify it where inaccurate, update it and request its deletion. Consent given may be withdrawn at any time and without stating a reason.

Deletion needs no request: it is in the account itself, under "Delete account", and it runs on its own (clause 8). For everything else — access, rectification, a copy of one's own data — it is enough to write to support@celestialbound.com from the account's address. A reply follows within five business days. Exercising these rights is free.

Anyone who considers their request was not properly handled may complain to Costa Rica's Agency for the Protection of Inhabitants' Data (PRODHAB).

Anyone in the European Union or the United Kingdom may write to the same address. There the regulation additionally grants the right to restrict processing, to object to it and to obtain a copy of one's own data in a machine-readable format, and the response period is one month. A complaint may also be brought to the data protection authority of the country of residence.

The data is processed outside the European Union (clause 6). The basis for that transfer is today each provider's contractual undertakings; anyone wishing to know which applies to which may request it at that address and will be told.

10. Security

The whole site runs over HTTPS, the session cookie is httpOnly, and each account reaches only its own profiles, orders and works — verified server-side and not merely hidden in the interface. Even so, no system is infallible: should there be a breach affecting a data subject, they will be notified on the terms the applicable law requires.

The session identifier is stored transformed, so the database holds no credential that would let anyone be impersonated, and every backup copy is encrypted before it leaves the server. Database fields are not encrypted individually: access to them is controlled per account and server-side.

11. Changes

Any change to this policy is reflected in the date at the head of the document. Where the change is substantive — new data, a new provider, a new purpose — it will be communicated by email before it takes effect.
