The followers of Christ, have all been called on a mission
to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ to all mankind: "Go ye therefore,
and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of
the world. Amen. (Matt 28:19-20). These are the words of our Savior, Jesus Christ
and they weren't given by way of request. They were given by way of commandment and with a mighty promise attached
that He would always be with us. With that promise, we have nothing to fear.
So what exactly is he expecting of us?
After much consideration and prayer on the subject, we have concluded that we MUST help spread the Good News of
the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But not just that, we must also teach others to "observe
all things whatsoever I have commanded you". What do you think He meant by that?
We believe it means to teach the Gospel in ALL truth and light; to include His teachings on ordinances, covenants,
and our role in the divine scheme of things. It means that there can only be one Lord and one faith. As Paul defined
in his letter to the Ephesians: "There is one body, and one Spirit,
even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism".
(Ephesians 4: 4-5) Jesus Christ set up His church (or body) and, therefore, there can only be one true church.
It is in this respect that my brother and I have chosen to create this website in hopes of
helping you understand something very vital for the future of all mankind, and which we have been given a Divine
Mandate to share with you.
We are not on a mission to attack or condemn the other Christ-centered churches. All of these
churches teach truth and have great good men and women serving within them. We only suggest that many precious
things may have been lost due to the ignorance or craftiness of individuals during less enlightened eras that history
calls the dark ages.
This Mission we are on is to help you to understand why the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints stands out from the other Christian denominations. This church restores all of the teachings and ordinances
first introduced to us by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is TRUTH RESTORED by and through a prophet, called
by God, to bring back the gospel for this last time. All the prophets of old spoke of a time when truth would need
to be restored and we testify to all those seeking truth that that time is NOW.
First of all, we would like to dispel all the half-truths or out and out lies that have been taught by fearful,
ignorant men about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. If you have a negative feeling when you hear
the word, "Mormon" or "Latter-day Saints" - may we suggest that you spend the time necessary
at this website to learn the truth about us. My favorite motto is: "if you want to know the truth about the
Mormons, ask someone who knows…………….ask a Mormon". Makes sense doesn't it? Satan would have you believe the
lies spread about the Latter Day Saints by people who don't know the truth or are afraid of the truth. Why would
he want you to join Christ's church? He's happy to help keep you away. Only fear makes people tell or believe lies.
The Latter Day Saints have nothing to fear. Ask us. And after you've asked us, for the sake of Truth, you ought
to study it out in your mind and pray about it whether you have been misinformed by your Church leaders or others,
or history. To clear out old misconceptions so that the Light of Truth may reign supreme, we are hosting this website
and asking all seekers of truth to come and be enlightened.
In addition, we want to point out that the confusion in the Christian world today is largely
due to MAN'S interpretation of the gospel message. There is no room in Christ's church for "man's interpretations".
So much confusion and so many different doctrines all claiming to be Christ's Church stupifies the mind of an intelligent
person, don't you think? The Apostle Paul had something to say about this confusion as well: "And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors
and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the
measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and
carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait
to deceive". (Ephesians 4: 11-14).
It's easy to understand why truth needed to be restored after the apostles, prophets, etc.,
were all martyred, don't you think? Christ's true church would have to have a living prophet and apostles, etc.
Remember what it says in Amos 3:7: "Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets." The Church of Jesus
Christ of Latter Day Saints has had a living prophet, called by God, since the Restoration of the church in 1829,
as well as Apostles, evangelists, pastors and teachers.
We've heard it said from different sources that "God does not need to reveal more truth
to us. He's told us everything we need to know" or "The heavens are sealed. God has stopped speaking
to us". That doesn't make any sense to us. Why would God stop speaking to us? We need Him more than ever.
And if that's true, God needs a mouthpiece. He needs a prophet. And He has one. Through ages passed he has always
called a prophet whenever he needed to "remind" or "expound" or "reveal" more truth.
He only gives us more light as we are ready to receive it. Don't you think that man in his confused state of "every
wind of doctrine" needs to be reminded of the truth, or have it expounded or revealed? Mormons don't claim
to have a "different" truth; just more truth.
May we pose a question: What if there was some new knowledge regarding your faith in Christ
that you were not as yet made privy to? This New Light would give you a deeper understanding into the Ways of God
and His Eternal Plan of Salvation for mankind. Wouldn't you wish to know about it? Would you be bold enough to
ask questions about this new knowledge, in spite of your current understanding of the Ways of God? Or would fear,
keep you from doing so? A family member once said to us, "Don't teach me about your church. I'm too old to
change my way of thinking". What a sad reason for not wanting to hear about Christ's restored church! My brother
once said: "If it were I - and it was I - I would think I'd wish to learn how I could be more blessed and
more enlightened about how I could attain even greater blessings and knowledge". I agree, don't you?
We'd like to challenge you to investigate this church, ask the questions, ponder and pray and make a decision based
on Truth and inspiration from the HOLY GHOST and NOT FEAR. It may be the most important thing you ever do for yourself
and for your family.
The Prophet Moroni said in the closing verses of the Book of Mormon: "And
when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of
Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith
in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost and by the power of the Holy
Ghost ye may know the truth of all things". (Moroni 10:4-5).
We bare our humble testimony to you that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is Christ's Church Restored
and we say this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Sincerely,
